Cookie policy

This site currently sets no cookies. That will change soon - a CookieYes consent banner is being added so we can ask for your permission before loading any non-essential cookies, and so you can adjust your choice at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device to remember something - usually a session, a preference, or an analytics identifier.

  • Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
  • First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting.
  • Third-party cookies are set by another domain (analytics, embedded video, and so on).

What we currently set

Nothing. As of the date above, this site loads no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts. Open your browser's developer tools - the cookie list for cutthefluff.eu will be empty.

What is planned

When the CookieYes consent banner is added, two categories of cookies may appear:

  • Essential. The CookieYes banner itself stores your consent choice in a single cookie ( cookieyes-consent) so we do not ask again on every page load. Essential cookies do not require consent because they are needed for a feature you have explicitly asked for.
  • Analytics. If we later add analytics, the cookies that go with it will be off by default and load only after you accept. You can change your choice through the banner at any time.

This page will be updated the day the banner goes live, with the specific cookies, providers, and durations listed in a table.

Managing cookies

Your browser also offers cookie controls independent of any banner:

  • Chrome. Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Safari. Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox.Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge. Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

Blocking all cookies is fine for this site as it stands; nothing here depends on them yet.
