Privacy policy

Cut The Fluff is a static marketing website. We collect nothing automatically - no analytics, no advertising, no fingerprinting. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary one that remembers your cookie-consent choice. The only personal data we ever see is what you choose to send us by email or what Google Calendar receives when you book a discovery call through our scheduling link.

Who we are

CodeTech, Wroclaw, Poland. NIP: 7631936648. Email: hello@cutthefluff.eu.

We are the data controller for any personal data this site processes. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the scale and nature of our processing do not require one under GDPR.

What we collect

This site has no forms, no user accounts, and no analytics. The only script we load for cookies is the CookieYes consent banner, and the only cookie we set is its strictly necessary consent cookie (see the cookie policy). We run no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

The only personal data we ever process is:

  • Email you send us. If you write to hello@cutthefluff.eu, we receive your email address and the contents of the message. We use it to reply.
  • Calendar bookings. The "Book a Call" links on this site point to a Google Calendar booking page. When you book, Google collects your name, email, and timezone on its own servers, then forwards the booking to us. Google's privacy policy applies to that flow.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs - IP address, user-agent, timestamps - for operational and security purposes. We do not access these unless investigating an incident.

How we use it

  • To reply to your email.
  • To honour your calendar booking.
  • To keep the site online and secure.

We do not profile, segment, advertise, or sell. We have no analytics dashboard because there is nothing to display.

Cookies

This site sets a single, strictly necessary cookie - the one CookieYes uses to remember your consent choice. The CookieYes banner is live; our cookie policy describes that cookie, its one-year duration, and how to review or change your choice through the floating cookie icon.

Third parties

  • Vercel (EU/USA) - hosts this site.
  • CookieYes - provides the cookie-consent banner and records your consent preference.
  • Google Calendar(USA) - powers the "Book a Call" flow.
  • Standard email provider - if you receive a reply from us, the message is delivered through a standard mail service.

Where data leaves the EU (e.g. Google in the US), the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (the right to be forgotten).
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO).

For us, "any personal data we hold" is essentially your email - if you have written to us - or your booking details, if you have scheduled a call. Email hello@cutthefluff.eu to exercise any of these rights. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above. Material changes will also be flagged on the site for 14 days before they take effect.
